    FOUNDER & CEO

    Evan is a 3rd generation pilot, born and raised in aviation. He has 16 years of experience and 2500 flight hours in over 37 different types of aircraft including aerobatic, antique and experimental airplanes. Inspired by his passion for sport flying, he envisioned a new type of aircraft designed to combine the best aspects of recreational flying into an airplane that could allow a group of people to share the share the experience together. In 2024 he founded Axis Aviation to make this airplane a reality.

  • Aram Kurchian

    HEAD OF POWERTRAIN

    Aram is a design, R&D, and manufacturing expert specializing in electric powertrains and power electronics across automotive, aerospace and tech industries. He excels in rapid prototyping through his skills as a welder, machinist and fabricator. He has specific experience in destructive battery cell safety testing, battery cooling, systems design and integration of electric motors into advanced hybrid and battery-electric aircraft.

  • Andy Chiavetta

    HEAD OF FABRICATION

    Andy is a aircraft composites specialist with 30 years of experience building and testing record-setting carbon fiber race planes for the Reno National Championship Air Races. This work has lead him to become an authority in the field of aircraft cooling and airframe drag reduction. He is an expert in composite molding, assembly and finishing techniques. He personally designed and built his own single seat aircraft the LT-1 Bobcat.

    Pilot

    Eric is an American competition aerobatic pilot in Unlimited Powered and Unlimited Glider categories. He is the U.S. National Unlimited Glider Aerobatic Champion and pilot on the United States Glider Aerobatic Team. He has over 15 years of experience with electrified aircraft through his work at Solar Flight, flying the highest performance solar-electric airplanes in the world.

  • James Alaggio

    Pilot

    James is a pilot with 30 years of experience in numerous types of aircraft including airliners, seaplanes, aerobatic airplanes, gyrocopters, helicopters, racing sailplanes, hot air balloons, paragliders and wingsuits. He has extensive insight in the aerial tourism industry through his experience flying fixed wing and rotorcraft tours in Hawaii.

    Strategy Director

    James Darcy is a strategic consultant with more than two decades of communications and executive leadership experience in commercial aviation, defense, rotorcraft and space sectors. He has served in senior leadership positions with one of the world's largest aerospace OEMs as well as in the DoD's largest aviation acquisition command.
